Founded in 2021, Blue Door Residential Property Management brings over a decade of hands-on property management experience to homeowners and real estate investors across Maryland. Our team has been actively managing residential properties since 2010, and we built Blue Door on a foundation of integrity, expertise, and a genuine commitment to the clients and communities we serve.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate and transparent financial reporting, and providing expert care for every property we manage. We believe that property owners deserve a management partner they can fully trust, which is why we hold an active license with the Maryland Real Estate Commission. Maryland does not require a real estate license to operate a property management company, yet we chose to obtain and maintain licensure as a direct reflection of our commitment to professional standards and accountability.

Joe Norman
Owner and Principal Property Manager
Joe Norman is the owner of Blue Door Residential Property Management and a Maryland real estate professional with a reputation for integrity, responsiveness, and practical knowledge of the local real estate market.
As a real estate investor and property owner himself, Joe understands the challenges and responsibilities that come with owning rental property. At Blue Door, he combines that firsthand perspective with years of real estate experience to provide owners with personalized, responsive property management focused on protecting their investment and making ownership easier.
Born and raised in Maryland, Joe is a graduate of Salisbury University and the Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering. He is a proud husband and father of three boys and has a dysfunctional relationship with the Baltimore Orioles. Outside of work, you’ll find him serving his community, watching his kids play sports, or spending time on the Chesapeake Bay.
